Drusilla supposed that sneaking out of her home wasn't actually a way to stay on the righteous path, but she felt like he was there with her. In her dreams and outside, she could have sworn she had seen him before and she just had to get away from him. Just for a moment at least.
William was so different from him and everyone, who else could she have turned to?
So she sneakily walked up to him, a faint smile on her lips as she reached him. "Hello. Thank you again."
"Oh, it's quite all right. Not like I had much else going on." He laughed somewhat sheepishly and walked beside her, hands in his pockets and trying to be casual. They didn't live that far apart, he'd known her for a long time, watched her walk to school a few times before following behind her. Not in a stalker way! He just didn't want to intimidate her.
Or accidentally look like a creeper.
He looked on and tried his best not to fall into her smile. "I am mostly concern for you."
"Concerned?" Drusilla supposed that only made sense, all things considered, but it still made her fret. She hadn't wanted him to worry on her account, she hadn't wanted to make him feel responsible. But she was scared and she had to tell someone. Someone who might stand a chance at understanding her. "You needn't be. I fear it might be mostly in my own head. So many things are."
She did't want to frighten others with what she saw in her head. But still, she turned her head to see if she could spy Liam's face somewhere, or if he really just followed her in her entirely too vivid imagination.

It's not Liam's fault. I see things and then... I think I'm turning him to sin. I need to save our souls, you see?
no subject
Liam is already turned to sin, I know of him quite well. You should be cautious around him.

I have to run, you see?

Can
Can I help at all? I would very much like to.
no subject
I think he's everywhere.
no subject
I can tell him to leave you be.

I'm sorry. I can't talk to a priest. I fear what they'll say. I'm not strong enough.
Can you take me away?
no subject
It's okay, I can definitely do that. Go somewhere quiet and safe so you can relax a little. Would you like to go to my home? No priests.
I promise nothing sinister.
no subject
I can go to your home.

Shall I come collect you and walk you to mine?
no subject
Thank you so much, William.
no subject
Shall I bring anything for you?
no subject
I just like to walk near you. You stand out in the world.
no subject
But it's lovely of you to say so.
no subject
I'm sorry. I'm being too forward.
no subject
Oh dear.
no subject
Yet you are sweet. It's rare. You are like a knight.
no subject
I do so wish it. I'm glad that you see something in me.
no subject
I'm afraid I've turned to darkness.
no subject
You're glowing! Bright. Warm. Effulgent.
no subject
I'll try. Let me know when you are here.
no subject
I'll wait.
He didn't want to get too close and provoke anyone but he did wait outside, peering over the wall.
